Berkeley police yank hair of female professor and students at Occupy Cal

UCB English Professor Celeste Langan (1st woman pulled) offers out her wrists and tells police they can arrest her -- they yank her out by the hair and do the same with two students. The police were intent on destroying the Occupy Cal encampment tents. At 1:33, because a woman is pinned to a bush and being batoned, a man tries to help her but gets pulled out and beaten by police.

Students TOOK A STAND and stayed! The police had to retreat. Later that night, students voted 570 to 30 for a UNIVERSITYWIDE STRIKE Tuesday, Nov. 15 to defend public education and stop cuts, fee hikes, and privatization.
