KCBS: Chamber of Commerce Opposes Prop. 19

August 12, 2010- The state’s business lobby is taking a stand against a measure that would legalize recreational marijuana use in California.

California’s Chamber of Commerce says Proposition 19 could open the door to smoking pot in the workplace.

Chamber spokesperson Denise Davis says while employers can ban alcoholic drinks in the workplace, the same would not be true for marijuana under Prop. 19.
