Our Independent Exit Polls

Exit Polls are considered around the world to be the most accurate way to test for fair elections. In an exit poll, voters are asked how they voted as they leave the polling place. These polls are far more accurate than pre-election polling.

But in the 2004 presidential election, evidence shows that the exit polls were manipulated late on election night to match the manipulated election results.

So this time, we're commissioning our own exit polls. Working in conjunction with Election Integrity.org's Vote Count Protection Project, Velvet Revolution is commissioning exit polls in key jurisdictions across the country, providing a crucial check on voting systems. We've hired an internationally-renowned exit polling firm to conduct the polls so that we can make them immediately available to analysts and the public.
